FAQ for Match Journal Pre & Post Match Analysis

  • Include the temperature, approximate wind speed and direction, sunny or cloudy. Different weather conditions create different playing conditions, and we want to know what we're up against.

  • Start counting from the approximate moment you fell asleep. Laying in bed awake does not count as sleep, even if you had your eyes closed. We need to know how many hours you were actually sleeping.

  • Include the length of your dynamic warm up, if you did any resistance bands, any actual hitting, and anything done before the match starts. This section can be filled out before or after the match.

  • This section can be filled out before or after the match. Maybe you're someone who likes to snack right before matches. That's fine. You don't have to be filling out the journal at that moment. You can focus on your match and fill it out after.
