Welcome to Episode 1! Murphy Cassone from Arizona State was kind enough to share what his junior tennis journey was like. Fresh off his ATP Challenger Tour Title, the multiple time All-American, and NCAA Singles Semifinalist discuss his initial tennis experience in Kansas, and how he ended up spending time training in Florida. Some highlights of the interview were:

• Started playing tennis at age 6

• At age 9 he spent time at Rick Macci’s where practice matches and fitness began

• Didn’t get into any L1’s until the 14’s

• Decided to try ITF’s since he was struggling at USTA events

• UTR of approximately 12.9, #1 on tennis recruiting, yet still received some offers he didn’t like from top Division 1 schools
